This piece finds its inspiration in the Palometa, an emblematic fish of the Caribbean waters that immediately transports me back home. Beyond its vibrant tropical presence, this creature evokes a subtle reflection on the fragility and ethereal nature of our lives: an existence brimming with intense and beautiful nuances, yet profoundly ephemeral.

Before it stands my niece, captured in a moment of pure innocence and genuine wonder at the animal.
