Reconciling with one's origins requires an act of profound courage. This canvas is born as a tribute to the courage needed to seek, discover, and embrace our roots with absolute love; an intimate process that invites us to recognize where we come from, accept our complete history, and honor the legacy that precedes us.

It is, at the same time, a deeply felt tribute to the memory of my grandmother, a peasant woman whose life and wisdom were intertwined with the cycles of the land. Through her, the work celebrates the act of cultivating affection and respect for our identity, transforming the past into the firm ground upon which we stand.
